Climate and Seasonal Patterns

Moodys Valley is situated within the subtropical climate zone of South East Queensland. This positioning typically results in warm to hot summers and mild, dry winters. Because the area sits inland from the Gold Coast and south of Brisbane, it often experiences slightly more pronounced temperature fluctuations than the immediate coastline. During the summer months, moisture-laden air from the Coral Sea can lead to high humidity levels, often culminating in afternoon or evening convectional thunderstorms.
