Mudjimba Island sits within a humid subtropical climate band. These events often result in dangerous sea conditions and significant coastal erosion. Additionally, the region faces risks from severe convective storms during the warmer months, which can produce large hail and damaging wind gusts. Marine users must pay close attention to swell forecasts, as the island's position makes it vulnerable to long-period swells generated by distant storms in the Tasman Sea.
