Climate and Seasonal Patterns

Tara is situated within the Western Downs, a region of Queensland known for its sub-tropical, semi-arid climate. Located west of the Great Dividing Range, the local weather is influenced by its inland position, which results in greater temperature fluctuations than coastal areas. During the summer months, the region frequently experiences high temperatures and increased humidity, which often culminate in afternoon thunderstorms.
