During the autumn and winter periods, the weather is typically dominated by stable high-pressure systems moving across the Australian continent, resulting in clear skies and light winds. Spring serves as a transitional period where increasing heat and humidity often precede the arrival of the wet season.

Severe Weather Risks

During the warmer months, the region is susceptible to severe thunderstorms which can lead to localised flash flooding.
